What data can be processed
If you use the AI mirror, the app can process the photo you submit, the lesson settings you chose, and the written feedback returned for that session. If you only browse lessons and kits, no account is required.
How AI photo feedback works
Your uploaded practice photo is sent to the app backend so it can request educational feedback from the configured OpenAI model. The goal is technique coaching only. The app is not intended to identify you, judge attractiveness, or diagnose health or skin conditions.
How the live mirror works
The live mirror can use your device camera locally to draw face landmarks and give framing cues like centering, angle, and distance. The live camera preview is for on-device guidance. A still frame is only sent for AI feedback when you choose to capture and submit it.
How data is used
Photos and lesson settings are used to generate one round of feedback for the current coaching session. Support requests and purchase inquiries may use the information you include in your email so we can reply and help you.
What the app does not promise
The AI coach can be helpful, but it may miss things, overstate confidence, or be wrong. Makeup Mentor Studio is educational only and does not replace a licensed professional, makeup class, medical advice, or dermatology care.
